Overview
AASA Vision Conference 2009 is the premier event exclusively for members of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). Its successful format creates a forum for the open exchange of ideas, best practices and collaborative efforts to adapt and prosper in the changing global marketplace.

This second annual conference will continue efforts initiated at the 2008 AASA event to identify industry and corporate strategies that will support members’ efforts to achieve increased levels of profitability.

 

Format
AASA Vision Conference 2009 will kick-off with a Welcome Reception on the evening of Tuesday, March 10, following meetings of the AASA Board of Governors and AASA councils.

The program will begin on Wednesday morning, March 11, with keynote addresses by aftermarket retailers and distributors, best practice presentations by members and panel discussions of trends and challenges affecting automotive aftermarket suppliers.

As in the 2008 event, participants will chose one of three “Vision Workgroup Sessions” to participate in roundtable discussions focused on key issues and initiatives for the association and its members.

Potential Keynote Topics
The AASA Vision Conference Planning Committee has identified possible keynote topics as Exploring New International Opportunities, Lessons Learned from a Global Automotive Supplier, How Washington is Affecting the Aftermarket Business Environment, Re-inventing to Stay on the Leading Edge, Telematics and other Technologies on the Horizon, Establishing a Strong Position with Customers, Services & Products – A Two-Prong Approach.

Target Audience
An estimated 200-250 attendees are expected at the AASA Vision Conference 2009, including AASA member company executives responsible for management, sales, marketing, procurement, operations, government affairs, supply chain and manufacturing.
