Dr. Martin A. Regalia is vice president for economic and tax policy and chief economist at the United States Chamber of Commerce, a position he has held since April 1993.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Regalia served as the director of research for the Savings and Community Bankers of America (SCBA). He previously served as executive vice president of policy development and chief economist for the National Council of Community Bankers, one of SCBA’s predecessor organizations, from June 1992 when the group was founded.

Regalia also served as a principal analyst in the fiscal analysis division at the Congressional Budget Office, as an economist for the board of governors of the Federal Reserve System in both the banking and capital markets sections, and as a financial economist for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC). In addition, he served as a consultant to the Thrift Institutions Advisory Council to the board of governors of the Federal Reserve System and was a visiting instructor at The George Washington University School of Government and Business.

Regalia has a B.A. degree in economics with honors from the University of Santa Clara as well as an M.A. in economics and a Ph.D. in monetary economics from the University of Wisconsin.

Todd Hack is senior vice president of product management for General Parts/CARQUEST and president of CARQUEST Corp. and is responsible for management of the Product Store Support Center.

Hack has been with CARQUEST for 18 years, during which time he has managed a CARQUEST Auto Parts store and worked in sales and distribution. In 1992, he moved to CARQUEST Corp. where he was the marketing coordinator and held the positions of product manager, director of product marketing and vice president.

In 2001, Hack became executive vice president, CARQUEST Headquarters and Vice President, Marketing General Parts Inc. Previously, he was general manager of CARQUEST Products Inc. in New Castle, Ind.

Hack earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the State University of New York at New Paltz and received his MBA in Marketing from Regis University in Denver, Colo.


Greg Henslee

Greg Henslee is CEO and co-president of O’Reilly Automotive Inc., a position he has held since February 2005.

He began his automotive career almost 30 years ago as a service advisor and assistant service manager at a General Motors dealership in Springfield, Mo. He later joined Montgomery Ward and managed its Automotive Service Center in Springfield. In this capacity, he was a customer of O’Reilly Auto Parts and, desiring to join a locally owned business, made the decision to start a career at the growing chain of auto parts stores in 1984.

Henslee started his career at O’Reilly as a parts specialist at the original O’Reilly store, and through 1989, served in several positions in retail store operations in the Springfield area. By then, the company had grown to almost 100 stores and he advanced to the position of store operations manager.

Over the past 22 years, Henslee has served in several positions including director of store operations, vice president of store operations, senior vice president and since July 1999, as co-president of the company.

Henslee attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, M0. He and his wife of 29 years, Becky, have one daughter, Layne, and one granddaughter, Emma.

O’Reilly Automotive Inc. is a public company, traded on the NASDAQ exchange under the symbol ORLY. The company consists of approximately 3,200 auto parts stores and 18 distribution centers and is based in Springfield, Missouri. O’Reilly serves the retail, wholesale and independent jobber markets in 38 states and employs approximately 40,000 team members. The company is the third largest auto parts chain in the country. The key to the company’s growth and success has been the development of professional, well-trained and motivated team members.


Christopher Guith
Vice President
Institute for 21st Century Energy

Christopher Guith is vice president for policy at the Institute for 21st Century Energy, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In this role he is responsible for developing and implementing the Institute’s policies and initiatives as they apply to the legislative, executive, and regulatory bodies of the federal and state governments.

Previously, Guith served as the deputy assistant secretary for Nuclear Energy at the Department of Energy (DOE), where he worked to develop the administration’s nuclear energy policy and coordinated DOE’s interactions with Congress, stakeholders, and the media. He also served as the deputy assistant secretary for congressional affairs at DOE, focusing on energy policy. While at the DOE, he was a chief representative of the administration during the drafting and debate of the Energy Policy Act of 2005.

Earlier in his career, he served as Congressman Bob Barr’s legislative director and Congressman Tim Murphy’s counsel and policy advisor. He also served as the legislative counsel for Environment, Technology, and Regulatory Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Guith is a graduate of Syracuse University-College of Law and the University of California-Santa Barbara.

Since starting his business career in 1976, Moore has worked with dozens of automotive and heavy truck manufacturers as well as retailers, distribution and associations, creating programs for jobbers, rebuilders and service technicians. He was a former senior executive with Barkley & Evergreen, one of the nation’s 50 largest advertising agencies. He is active in a variety of trade associations including AAIA, AASA and SEMA.
